How do I book a personal chef?
Sign in as a customer and book at least one day before. Choose a professional chef or domestic cook, set the date and hours, confirm location, then checkout. Same-day bookings are not available.
How much do I pay now?
You pay 40% of the chef booking amount at checkout to confirm the chef. The remaining amount is paid after the job is done.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Open Cancel / Reschedule in the customer portal. Fees follow our refund policy.
Who brings ingredients?
You choose at booking: customer-provided groceries or chef-sourced ingredients (extra charges may apply).
What is the difference between a private chef and a home cook?
A private / professional chef is for parties and special menus. A home cook or monthly cook is for everyday meals at your house.
How do chefs join CookDoor?
Open Register as chef, complete KYC (ID and bank or UPI), and wait for verification before jobs appear.
